Amber Melton joins FSCJ for her first year as Head Athletic Trainer after spending the past three years at Flagler College supporting the volleyball, softball, and baseball programs.

Amber has spent the majority of her six-year career in NCAA Division II athletics at Flagler College and Wingate University. She received her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences & Nutrition and master's in Athletic Training at the University of South Florida. While at USF, Amber worked with the Bulls football, women's soccer, and women's basketball teams. After finishing her degree in athletic training, Amber moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to Wingate University where she complete a master's degree in Sport Management with a concentration in compliance, while working with their men's and women's cross country, track and field, and golf teams. While at WU, she also spearheaded the development and implementation of their COVID-19 policies and testing procedures as well as drug testing. After leaving Wingate, she spent a semester at Gardner-Webb University (NCAA DI) in Boiling Springs, North Carolina working with their women's soccer, women's basketball, and tennis programs.
