In Game 1 on Friday, January 24, Daytona State College defeated the FSCJ Manta Rays 6-0 in a dominant performance. Lopez sparked the offense with a solo home run in the second inning, and the team accumulated nine hits in total. Borton earned the win on the mound, pitching 2 2/3 innings of no-hit baseball, striking out seven while allowing no runs. On the FSCJ side, Cayden Robinson pitched three innings, giving up one run on two hits and striking out four. Despite Alex Monile collecting two hits for FSCJ, the Manta Rays were unable to generate any offense. Both teams played error-free defense, with Jack Newman making the most defensive plays for FSCJ and Lopez leading Daytona State with 11 fielding chances.
In Game 2 on Saturday, January 25, FSCJ rebounded with an 8-7 victory in a closely contested game. Billy Girgis led the Manta Rays offensively with three hits, including a double and two singles, driving in key runs. Daytona State jumped out to an early lead in the first inning, with Corbitt's two-RBI double highlighting a three-run start. FSCJ tied the game 3-3 in the second inning, capitalizing on a passed ball. Girgis's double in the fourth gave FSCJ a 4-3 lead, and Dominic Masto's two-run double in the sixth extended it to 7-5. Daytona State rallied to retake the lead temporarily, but FSCJ ultimately secured the win with strong relief pitching from Gant Geiger, who earned the win, and Derek Carson, who closed the game with two innings of no-run relief. Daytona State collected 12 hits, with standout performances from Guy, Bradshaw, and Vinciguerra, who each had three hits, while Guy added three RBIs. Both teams remained defensively sharp, committing no errors, with standout fielding performances from Lopez and Nolan Hartsell.
