Kevin LaRosa enters his first season as Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Pitching Coach.

Prior to FSCJ, Larosa started the River City Baseball program where he has worked with numerous players in the surrounding Jacksonville area. He also spent three years (2021-2024) as a part of the coaching staff at Oakleaf High School.

As a player, LaRosa appeared in 44 games for the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears (2016-2019) posting a career 3.32 ERA and an Opponent’s Batting Average of .226. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2019.

LaRosa was raised in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Westside High School in 2015, where he was also a part of the team that broke the school’s 42 year playoff drought in 2014.
