Bio

Sam Gordon will be entering into his second season as part of the Florida State College at Jacksonville baseball coaching staff. He is an alumnus of FSCJ and was a member of the 2022-23 baseball team under Coach Frick. He serves as the outfield coach and assists with the hitters, weights, and baserunners.

Prior to FSCJ, Sam was enrolled at Tallahassee Community College as a student from 2020-2022. He was committed to the State College of Florida Sarasota-Manatee out of high school but was unable to attend due to two shoulder surgeries for his throwing shoulder. Sam attended Calvary Christian High School from 2016-2020, where he helped the Warriors achieve a 95-7 record, including two state championships as well as holding the record for most wins in a row in the state of Florida (60). He was the 91st overall prospect (#22 OF) in the state of Florida. He also was a WWBA World Champion in Jupiter as a member of the Florida Burn.

Born and raised in Dunedin, FL, Sam is the son of Monique Duguay and the late Marvin Gordon III. He has two brothers, Bradley and Henry. He is currently finishing up his bachelor's degree in business management at the University of North Florida and resides in St. Augustine, FL.
