FSCJ men pick up first road win versus Florida Gateway

The Florida State College at Jaksonville BlueWave men's basketball team picked up their first road win of the season over Florida Gateway College 85-72 in Lake City.

FSCJ trailed by 14 points at the half, 46-32. FSCJ came roaring back, led by 6-2 guard Tarence Guinyard, scoring 21 of his game-high 23 points in the second half. FSCJ picked up the defensive pressure in the second half, limiting FGC to 26 points.

Joshua Paige added 15 points, while Torian Parmalee chipped in 14 points. The win brings FSCJ to 4-5 on the year.

FSCJ will return to action Saturday, December 10, against Hillsborough Community College. Game time is 7:30 in Daytona Beach
